British product designer Tom Dixon became synonymous for his abstract lighting before developing a wide range of luxury products and furniture. Using the current site as inspiration for a site 5 years ago, I decided to visualise a potential redesign.
Combining balance and nonconformity, with the aim to evoke the shaped nature of the flagship products. Injecting a touch of minimalism, decorative typography and exploring subtle gradient gradually transition backgrounds and content sections. The concept explores the "hanging" of content hanging text elements and product imagery by linear details. Subtle micro-interactions guide the user and entice site exploration.
