An english furniture company aimed to extend their target market by focusing on a younger clientele, whilst retaining their existing customers base. They primarily produced reclining chairs for the elderly but wanted to extend their range to include modern, style-led furniture pieces. The website goal was introduce a new, exciting brand – with a youthful appearance, but remain accessible to the older demographic. The website needed to include a bespoke furniture configurator using their range of fabrics, requiring user experience best-practice. The result was an elegant, minimalist style website reminiscent of the likes of Made.com, leaving the products to speak for themselves.
Designing a website to showcase the brand and new business goals. By using the companies new branding, the website needed to reflect simplicity throughout. Using a limited colour palette and highlighting key actions, the website needed to be clear and accessible to all ages. The product page needed to include a stepped product configurator, using UX best practice to guide the user through the customisation process with fabric choices, foot options and stain protection options.
